Welcome to Tailor Studio ("we," "our," or "us"). We provide an all-in-one management software designed for professional tailors, boutiques, master cutters, and designers to efficiently manage customer measurements, orders, digital receipts, and business records.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, and protected when you use our mobile application ("Application") and associated web services. By downloading, accessing, or using Tailor Studio, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the practices outlined in this policy.

Core Commitment: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or your customer records to any third-party advertisers or data brokers under any circumstances.

2. Information We Collect

When you use Tailor Studio, you may input or store various types of information necessary to manage your tailoring business:

  • Business & User Account Information: Shop/Boutique name, owner name, email address, phone number, and authentication credentials (when utilizing cloud sync features).
  • Customer Records: Client names, phone numbers (used for sending digital receipts or WhatsApp updates), delivery addresses, and order history.
  • Measurement Details: Body dimensions and tailoring specifications (such as chest, waist, length, neck, sleeves, shalwar/trouser sizes, and styling preferences).
  • Financial Records: Order amounts, advance payments, pending dues, and billing summaries.
  • Design Attachments: Fabric photos, garment design reference pictures, and voice audio notes recorded for cutting and stitching instructions.

3. Device Permissions & Purpose

To provide specific functional capabilities, Tailor Studio may request access to certain features on your device:

  • Camera: Used exclusively to photograph fabric samples, customer-provided design sketches, and stitching references directly inside an order profile.
  • Photo Library & Storage: Used to attach existing design images from your gallery and to export/save generated PDF receipts and invoices onto your device storage.
  • Microphone / Audio Recording: Used only when you choose to record an audio note detailing specific stitching instructions for a worker or master cutter.
  • Bluetooth / Nearby Devices: Used strictly for communicating with compatible Bluetooth thermal printers to print physical paper receipts.
  • Internet Access: Required for syncing records with Firebase Cloud Backup and checking subscription or update status.

These permissions are only invoked when you actively use the associated feature and can be reviewed or revoked anytime in your device's System Settings.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely for the following legitimate purposes:

  • To maintain, organize, and retrieve your tailoring orders and customer measurement books.
  • To generate PDF invoices, thermal print tickets, and formatted WhatsApp messages.
  • To securely back up your records to the cloud so you don't lose data upon device change or loss.
  • To diagnose technical errors, crashes, and performance issues to improve app stability.

5. Third-Party Services & Firebase

The Application utilizes trusted infrastructure provided by Google and Firebase to deliver secure authentication, real-time synchronization, and crash reporting:

  • Google Play Services: Core application maintenance and store distribution.
  • Firebase Authentication: Secure user sign-in and identity verification.
  • Firebase Firestore & Cloud Storage: Encrypted cloud database and storage for your optional online backups.
  • Firebase Crashlytics & Analytics: Anonymous crash diagnostics to detect bugs and optimize performance.

6. Data Security & Storage

We employ industry-standard security safeguards. Your data is stored locally in an isolated SQLite database on your device. When cloud sync is enabled, transmissions between your device and Firebase servers are encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS) and protected at rest by Google Cloud's data security architecture.

7. User Rights & Data Deletion Policy

We respect your complete ownership over your data. In compliance with Google Play Developer Policies and data protection regulations:

  • Local Data Deletion: You can delete any individual customer, measurement record, or order at any time directly through the app interface.
  • Self-Service Google Account Unlinking: You can revoke Tailor Studio's access directly from your Google Account settings and delete cloud backups from Google Drive. Follow our detailed step-by-step guide on our dedicated Account & Data Deletion Page.
  • Full Cloud Account Deletion: You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated cloud backups by contacting us at waqassiddique265@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and your registered email.

Upon receiving a verified deletion request, all cloud-stored personal records will be permanently purged within 30 calendar days.

8. Children's Privacy

Tailor Studio is a business management tool intended for commercial use by tailoring professionals and businesses. We do not knowingly solicit or collect data from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please notify us immediately for prompt deletion.
