Account & Data Deletion

1. Overview

At Tailor Studio, we are committed to complete transparency, user privacy, and giving you full control over your personal information. In accordance with Google Play Developer Policies and global data protection standards, users have the right to delete their account, unlink their Google Sign-In profile, and purge all stored data at any time.

Tailor Studio is architected with an Offline-First & Private Cloud principle: your business records, measurements, and customer profiles are stored locally on your device and inside your own personal Google Drive (if cloud backup is enabled). We do not store your client registers on unauthorized private servers.

2. What Data Is Deleted?

When you unlink your account and execute data deletion, the following items are permanently removed:

• Authentication & Profile Tokens: OAuth tokens, Google account identifier, email address, display name, and avatar connection.
• Cloud Database Backups: The tailor.db encrypted SQLite database archives stored in your Google Drive AppData folder.
• Measurement & Design Photos: All customer suit designs, fabric samples, and measurement photo attachments synced to cloud backups.
• Local Business Records: All customers, stitch types, tailoring orders, karigar accounts, and financial ledger transactions stored on your Android device.

3. Step 1: Unlink Tailor Studio from Your Google Account

If you signed in with Google, you can revoke Tailor Studio's access directly from your Google Account settings. Once revoked, the app can no longer access your Google profile or your Google Drive backup space:

1. Open your web browser and visit your Google Account Permissions page:
   https://myaccount.google.com/connections
2. Sign in with the Gmail address you used inside Tailor Studio.
3. Under "Third-party apps & services", scroll down and find Tailor Studio.
4. Click on Tailor Studio to open its permission details.
5. Click the button "Delete all connections that you have with Tailor Studio" (or "Remove Access").
6. Confirm when prompted. Google will instantly revoke all OAuth access tokens.

4. Step 2: Delete Cloud Backups from Google Drive

Tailor Studio saves your backups in a secure, hidden application data folder inside your Google Drive so they cannot be accidentally altered or viewed by other apps. To permanently delete this hidden backup:

1. Open Google Drive on your computer or mobile web browser (Desktop mode).
2. Click the Settings (Gear Icon ⚙️) in the top right corner and choose Settings.
3. In the left menu, select Manage Apps.
4. Scroll through the list until you locate Tailor Studio.
5. Click the Options button next to Tailor Studio.
6. Select "Delete hidden app data".
7. Confirm the deletion. All backup files, including database snapshots and customer photos, will be permanently erased from Google Drive.

5. Step 3: Delete In-App Local Data on Your Phone

To erase all offline data stored locally on your Android device:

1. Open the Settings app on your Android phone.
2. Navigate to Apps (or Manage Applications) > Tailor Studio.
3. Tap on Storage & Cache.
4. Tap Clear Storage (or Clear Data) and confirm.
5. (Optional) Tap Uninstall to completely remove the application and all cached files from your device.

6. Request Manual Account & Data Deletion

If you prefer our support team to assist you or verify that all associated identifiers have been purged from our authentication providers (Firebase Authentication), you can submit a manual deletion request:

• Subject Line: Account and Data Deletion Request
• Required Information: The exact Gmail address associated with your Tailor Studio account.

Our team will verify the request, permanently delete your user UID from Firebase Authentication, and send you a confirmation email once completed.

7. Retention Policy & Timelines

• Self-service actions: When you unlink your Google account via Google Account Security or delete hidden app data via Google Drive, the deletion is instantaneous.

• Manual requests via email: All verified requests sent to support are processed and completely purged within 30 calendar days.

• No residual data: Once deleted, no backups, measurements, client profiles, or credentials are kept in our systems.
